Locomotion

The most common locomotion disorders in companion animals are arthritis (in dogs, in particulary).

Ceva Santé Animale has developed a range of specific solutions using recognized molecules to relieve both acute and chronic pain.

  • CARPRODYL®  (carprofen)

Carprofen is a non-steroid anti-inflammatory with analgesic (pain-relieving) and antipyretic (fever-reducing) characteristics. Carprofen inhibits acute and chronic inflammatory reactions and is used in secondary treatment of joint inflammation.

  • MELOXIDYL® (meloxicam)

Meloxicam is used to treat pain and inflammation. It is employed in short-term treatments of inflammatory disorders and osteoarthritis, and for long-term treatments of chronic joint inflammation problems. As an oral suspension, MELOXIDYL® is very practical for administering to dogs and cats with chronic muscular-skeletal problems such as osteoarthritis. In injectable form, MELOXIDYL® is used by vets to reduce post-operative pain in dogs and cats.
